February 2005

Hi! Glad you decided to come on over and watch me grow some more! This month I got weighed on my 6 month birthday (Feb 6) and I weighed 63 lbs. I'm still a growing boy. I'm still a pretty picky eater and sometimes I like it best when Mom feeds me with a spoon although she seems to get a lot of funny stares for that. I don't know why. Come on in and see how I'm growing up this month.

Here I am sharing the couch with my cat Lil One...
you remember him ~ he really does love me.....
and he has REALLY sharp claws.....

Here I am on Mom and Dad's bed ~ Dad got sick
after Mom contaminated him and so I brought
my toy and decided to lend my support.
Oh, did I mention I had never been on their bed
before this?? Look at him sleeping peacefully....

Then Mom came in and was having a discussion with me
about being on the bed.... so I tried to hunker down and hide.
How come this woman is always around with her camera.......

Here's where I'm suppose to take my naps...
but this bed got a little small for me so thank goodness,
for Valentines Day I got a new bed just my size..

Here I am back at the park training with Al.
That other dog is Shay and she's my friend who
is used to distract me...... I hope I'm as well trained
as Shay someday....

Here's me on Valentine's Day with Al and Dad ~
I'm learning 'stay' and they are about to push my
button by throwing my favorite red ball right past me..

I'm watching it but I was a good boy and stayed.

Al's giving me the talk on what he wants
me to do.... I really try to pay attention... but sometimes...

I just have to take a power nap......

This is Nikki ~ Al brought her to the park
along with Shay to be a distraction for me...
It worked..... she's quite a looker....and just
about my size.... Al's training Nikki so she
can find a good home... She's something called
'a rescue'.... hard to believe huh? Such a good
looking girl....

Then Mom and I went to the park the next
day to 'work' and this is during a break for both of us...
I wasn't that tired but you know my Mom is old so
she needs her rest breaks....

Later, Mom and I went for a drive......(did I mention
my Mom doesn't like to drive?)

Mom calls this my "Driving Ms Daisy" photo

There are lots of things you have to watch for
when behind the wheel.....and finding a place
for your ears to fit is not easy when you get tall
like me ~ luckily there's a sunroof.... whew...

Although Mom says you always need to look ahead,
sometimes it's necessary to give Mom that
look of 'reassurance' so she knows everythings cool.

Come back and see me soon!
