Carolyn, "A Wife of Noble Character", (Proverbs 31:10) went home to be with the Lord. She was surrounded by loved ones at home where she passed, after a 3 year battle with colon cancer. Carolyn was born in Prescott, Arizona to Earl and Beatrice Sullivan.

She knew, early on in her life, that the Lord's plan for her involved children. She spent her life fighting for those that could not speak for themselves, first as a charge nurse at Casa de los Ninos children's shelter then moving on to the foster care system where she and her lifelong love, Jack, found their calling.

This was just one step in a long walk with her eyes always to the Lord and his plan in her heart. While raising thirty-eight children, Carolyn became involved in a Bible Study Fellowship. With God's guidance, she then became involved with Prison Ministries.

It was there that she recognized a great need: "To restore the families of incarcerated women and to come along side these families to encourage restoration." This is the mission of In-TOW where Carolyn dedicated the last days of her life.

She is survived by her husband of 44 years, Jack, her mother Beatrice Sullivan, children Christopher Oliver, Pecos, TX, Alisha (Phillip) Coleman, Mesa, AZ, Sean (Melanie) Oliver, Norco, CA and Marcus (Carri) Oliver, Tucson.

This page was created in loving memory of Carolyn, my grandchildren Jacob and Madelyn's 'other' Grandma. I know she's having grand tea parties in Heaven today.
