Christopher, what would I have done if you had not come into my life when you did?

I guess we'll never know the true answer to that question but there is rarely a day that goes by that I don't think about that.

Our love grew out of true friendship. How lucky we are.

We've had so many losses in the last many years. We have gotten through them together. It would have tested many a marriage, but for us, it seemed to only add layers of strength to our marriage.

I've never known anyone as intelligent as you. Every day I learn something new from you. You have expanded my world. Thank you.

No one has ever believed in me like you do. No one has ever supported me in my endeavors as you do. No one has ever touted my achievements like you do. You make my life special every day.

The love and respect you have from the children is equalled only by your love and respect for each of them. How lucky they are to have you in their lives.

Our grandchildren will grow to be more inquisitive, more knowledgeable and more giving members of society because of your example. You are truly the 'smartest and best Grandpa' as Dillon would say!
